The Development of Fiqh Learning Based on Android Media to Improve the Material Mastery of the Students’ of Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif Qasimiyah in Polewali Mandar Regency
Abstract
This thesis discussed about the development of fiqh learning based on android media to improve the material mastery of the students’ of Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif Qasimiyah in Polewali Mandar Regency. The objectives of this thesis include: (1) to produce android-based learning media, (2) to obtain information about android-based fiqh learning media can improve the mastery of Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif Qasimiyah students.
The type of this research is research and development by adapting the four steps of Thiagarajan development known as the 4D (Four-D), Define, Design, Develop, and Disiminate models. This instructional media product has been validated by media experts and material experts and has been tested on 18 students of Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif Qasimiyah using experimental research.
The results of this study indicate that the development of android-based fiqh learning media can improve students' mastery of material, this can be seen from the results of the comparison of the average values of two different groups or two samples. The posttest value of the experimental class was 72.22 and the posttest value of the control class was 50.79. While the results of hypothesis testing indicate that the value of t-count was 7.010> t-table value was 2.030 at a significance level of 5% or alpha 0.05 then, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means the development of an Android-based fiqh learning media can improve the mastery of participant material students of Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif Qasimiyah Polewali Mandar Regency.
